  1. To the family of Kathleen Marie Nichols,
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that God is “near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34;18) With sympathy,

  2. I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kat. She was one of my first friends when I came on board at the Livingston Chamber of Commerce eighteen years ago. During the ten years I served, first as Executive Director, then as President, she was always part of the Chamber’s image in the community. She designed eight of the ten annual travel guides produced during my time with the Chamber; she also designed the organization’s logo, newsletter, and the Community Report quarterly publication during the final three years of my tenure. And it wasn’t just that organization. Many area non profits owe their “new look” to her vision and many local businesses have her to thank for the development of logos, campaigns, and websites. We’ll always have the Livingston County Millennium Committee’s book that she designed. Using Bill Cook’s carefully researched narrative, and the County Historical Society’s treasure trove of photographs, Kat helped the County Millennimn committee weave a wonderful coffee table book that now serves as a testament to her passion for the community. An example of her dedication to her community was in her farewell gift to me when I left Livingston County for California: a subscription to the Livingston County News.

  3. Kat,
I will remember all our stories we told each other, the fun memories(ex Richard’s hand in the pipe) and will miss them. To Rose Amie and Richard I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was great, patient, kind, caring, and funny soul. I will miss her. I will keep her and you guys in my thoughts.
