  2. I was saddened to read about Joyce’s death. I was a teenager helping your Mom on the packages for Vets in Vietnam. It was called Operation Morale and your Mom was Lima’s chairwoman. I was so impressed how much she had to do with 5 kids and I think there was an uncle living with you at the time and she still gave time to help others. Your dining room was full of boxes and items to be shipped, volunteers coming and going packing the boxes, it was nuts at times but your Mom did it! I just learned some of the letters sent to Liv. Co. from Vets thanking the volunteers are now at the Liv. Co. Museum. It’s part of our nation’s history and I was proud to be part of this with your Mom. My prayers and thoughts to you all.
