Livonia: August 11, 2011 at age 58 years at his home. Predeceased by his father Dominick A. Carbone Sr. and brother Leo L. Carbone. Survived by his wife of 17 years Kathaleen “Katie” Carbone and daughters: Andrea Carbone, Jennifer (Ken) Jackson of Canisteo, and Tia Carbone (Nick Hollier) of Waterloo. Grandchildren: David, Schuylar, Alexis, and Trysten. Also survived by his mother Evelyn Carbone, brothers Joseph (Karen) Carbone, sister Cynthia (Marty) Kelleher, and brother Nickalus Carbone all of Hornell. Many Aunts & Uncles, Nieces & Nephews, Cousins, in-laws, and friends. Special thanks to “Saint Maggie” and all family and friends for their help, compassion, and love.

Tony Carbone was born November 20th 1952, in Hornell, New York, to Dominick and Evelyn Carbone. Tony graduated from Hornell High School in 1971. After High School he began a career as a mechanic, and shortly became a father to his first daughter Jennifer, now 38. Twelve years later he became a father to his second daughter Tia, now 26. In 1992 he met Katie, and were married on December 17, 1993. Two years later Tonys third daughter was born, Andrea now 15. Tony was an uncle to many and a grandfather of four. Tony enjoyed swimming in his pool, taking vacations to different beaches, riding his tractor, and spending time with his family. In july of 2010 he was diagnosed with cancer. Over the past year he fought a long battle while enjoying his time at home with friends and family. On August 11th 2011 at home surrounded by family his battle came to a end.

Friends may call on Monday from 4-8pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree St., Rte 15 &20a, Livonia. Tony’s Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Matthew’s Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Rd., Livonia, NY. Burial to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
