Honeoye Falls: July 19, 2011 at age 72, of Holiday, Florida, formerly of Honeoye Falls died early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Barritta and Jeff Shanks of Lima. She was born in Saranac Lake, NY, May 26, 1939, the daughter of Joseph and Barbara Mead Prattis. For several years, she was employed in the Bursars Office at Rochester Institute of Technology. Kathy was a very devout and practicing Roman Catholic at St. Paul of the Cross Church in Honeoye Falls and St. Vincent DePaul Church in Holiday, Florida.

Survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Joseph M. Germonto; children, Bonnie (Paul) Toarmino of Avon, Tammy Germonto of Farmington, Laurie Germonto of Pensacola, FL., Lisajo (Tom) Keeler of Lima, Barrita (Jeff) Shanks of Lima, Joseph (Tracy) Germonto of Honeoye Falls, Marcus (Cosette) Germonto of Rochester. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, Wesley (Elizabeth Armstrong) Mead of Queens, NY, Christine Teuscher & Fiance, Colin Bradley of Rochester, Jennifer Teuscher (Justin Beigel) of Rochester, Kimberly Teuscher (Tommy Dougherty) of Geneseo, Michael (Vang) Westjohn of Pensacola, FL., Joshua Creager (Tara Zempel) of Rochester, Laura Shanks (Ricky Intini) and Kelly Shanks both of Rochester. Jessica Lawrence (Steve Cheeseman) of Canandaigua, Nikki Jo Lawrence of Lima, T.J. Keeler of Lima, Gavin and Shannon Germonto both of Honeoye Falls, NY, Joseph Germonto, Kaloni, Jataaz, & Shakeel Lovett all of Rochester. 6 great-grandchildren, Michael (Mikey) Westjohn of Pensacola, FL, Christian Mead, Noah Armstrong, Hailey Cheeseman of Canandaigua, Gavyn and Brooklyn Keeler both of Lima. Sisters, Sylvia (Rudy) Rosello of Macedon, Bonnie Tenity of Brockport and Cynthia Kaufman of Rochester. Several nieces & nephews.
