Bristol: Frances J. Smith, 78 years, of Route 20A, Bristol, NY died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Ontario County Health Facility in Canandaigua, NY. She was born in Springwater, NY, January 12, 1932, the daughter of Milo and Nellie Mitchell Thorpe. She graduated from Wayland High School and was employed for several years at Crossman Arms in Bloomfield prior to retiring and then working at WalMart in Canandaigua.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Russell L. Smith; her children, Norman (Lorie) May of Canandaigua, NY, Philip (Edna Coykendall) May of Hemlock, Roxanne (Mark) Smith of Prattsburgh, NY, Doris (Dan) Hefner of Port Gibson, NY. 4 grandchildren, Joshua Birmingham, Stephanie Hefner, Crystal Lead and Dalton Hefner.

Friends may call Monday 2-5 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia, where funeral services will be held on Monday following calling at 5 PM, with Brother Donald Hendrickson officiating.
