She was born in West Clarksville,NY, October 27, 1925 the daughter of Jesse and Eva Briggs Borden. Along with being a homemaker, she was employed by Star Diner,Ames, Avon Inn, Avon Nursing Home and she retired from the Marriott. Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Morris; daughter, Betty Olyer, son-in-law, Arthur Price and 3 brothers.

She is survived by her children, Diana Price of South Lima, Bev Olyer of Mount Morris, and Laura Olyer of Geneseo. 3 grandchildren, Scott (Melanie) Fitt of Webster, Wanda Bordeen of Buffalo and Sarah VanDurme of Dansville. 2 great grandchildren. brother, Richard Borden of Cuba, NY. several nieces and nephews.
