Louise W. Ryder – February 28, 2009

Conesus: Louise W. Ryder, 80 years of Stage Coach Road, Conesus died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home where she had resided for the past three months. She was born in Macedon, NY April 4, 1928, the daughter of Edward and Irma Pratt Willie. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Champion Knitwear in Livonia. Her husband, L. Earl Ryder died February 22, 2000.

Louise is survived by her children, Paulette (Les) Sprague of Canandaigua, William (Cynthia) Ryder of Leicester, James Ryder of Conesus and Andrew (Shari) Ryder of Sparta. 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. several nieces and nephews.

Milton C. Ketchum “Spider” – February 27, 2009

Bristol: Milton C. Ketchum, 87 years,of Morrow Hill Road in Bristol, died unexpectedly Friday, February 27, 2009 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. He was born September 21, 1921 the son of William and Celia Ketchum. He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War 2. Prior to retiring in 1984, he owned and operated Ketchum Trucking Co. in Rochester.He was a long time member of the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post and throughly enjoyed his property in Bristol during his retirement.

“Spider” is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann Hnylyszyn Ketchum; His son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Tina Ketchum of Bristol; 5 grandchildren, Christine (Frank) Clark, Jerry (Sandy) Ketchum, Julie (Erik) Carvotta, Murray Bell, Jr., and Jeromy Bell. 11 great grandchildren. sisters, Pearl Krompart of Albion, Irene Hart of CA. brother, Harold Ketchum of Spencerport. several nieces and nephews.

Elsie L. Frick – February 20 ,2009

Avon: Elsie M. Frick, 85 years of Parkview Drive in Avon, NY died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Serenity House in Victor, NY. She was born in DuBois, Pa. June 10, 1923, the daughter of Roy and Myrtle Hyer Lucore. She married Homer N. Frick, April 14, 1950. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her son Edward.

Besides her husband, Homer, she is survived by her daughter Betty Stebich of Avon, NY and Gloria (Robert) Brunelli of St. Mary’s, PA. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Lakeville: Marjorie A. VanIngen, 79 years, of Rochester Road in Lakeville, died Friday evening February 13, 2009 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. She was born in Lakeville, February 15, 1929 the daughter of Charles and Bessie Hoyt Sloan. She was a member of the Lakeville United Church of Christ and the Lakeville Fire Department Ladies Auxialiary. She was predeceased by her husband Walter “Red” VanIngen in 1991. She was well known for her generosity as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Marge is survived by her sons, Gary (Joyce Ann) VanIngen of Pittsford and David (Barbara) VanIngen of South LIma. 4 grandchildren, Michael and Kevin VanIngen, Kimberly Ferranti and Kristine Szyikowski. 4 great grandchilren, Emma, Christopher, Ryan and Hailey. Charles M. Clow “Charlie” – February 7, 2009

Wayland/Springwater: February 7, 2009 at age 65 years at his Strutt Street home. Survived by his wife Carol Clow ; Sons, Jeff (Cindy) Clow of Rochester and Tim (Casey) Clow of Rochester. 4 grandchildren. Mother, Jean Guy of Penfield. Charlie was born January 12, 1944 in Rochester, NY to parents Clarence and Jean Clow. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era. Charlie was a longtime employee of the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester and was also a bus driver for the Wayland School District.
