Arthur “Art” O’Hanlon

Honeoye: Art O’Hanlon 92 years of Cole Road Honeoye (Hemlock) died suddenly September 27, 2008 at the Avon Nursing Home, where he has resided since September 10., 2008. He was predeceased in 2002 by his wife Edna M. O’ Hanlon. Prior to his retirement he was employed at the former Stromberg-Carlson Corporation in Rochester. He was a member of the Honeoye Senior Citizens and was a longtime active member with his late wife at St. Mary’s Church in Honeoye.

Art is survived by his daughter Pam O’Hanlon of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Joyce (Ray) McMahon of Honeoye Falls. Grandchildren,,Mark McMahon, Maureen (Chuck) Ryskowski, (Greg Peterone). Scott McMahon and Kevin McMahon.. 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Robertina C. Wahl (Wason)

Canandaigua: Robertina C. Wahl, 91 years, of Stewart Place, Canandaigua, NY, formerly of Rochester, NY died Friday, September 26, 2008 at her home. She was born August 5, 1917, the daughter of Robert M. and Lizzie C. Sanborn Wason, in Southbridge, Mass. She was very active in the communities in which she resided, volunteering and participating in many causes including the Seven Lakes Girl Scout Council and the Genesee Valley Girl Scout Council. A gifted musician, she was the organist at many different Churches throughout her life. She was a member of the Reed Corners Federated Church and prior to her retirement was employed as a bookkeeper in the area including such places as the Country Club of Rochester and the Monroe Golf Club. She also enjoyed traveling when time permitted. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred G. Wahl and her brother, Buron D. Wason.

Mrs. Wahl is survived by her children, Robert (Inkeri) Wahl of Stafford,NY and Palm Springs, Florida, Nancy (Gerald) Langer of Sioux City, South Dakota, Betsi (Edward Lewis) Wahl of Canandaigua and Timothy (Linda) Wahl of Penn Yan. Her Grandchildren, Regina (Robert) Mullen,Heidamarie (John) Tierney, Heather (James) Dennis, Kim (Michael Phenis) Langer, Lisa (Dennis) Jerome, Gerald (Jo) Langer, Jeffrey (Jenifer) Langer, Kristine (Marshall) Codding, Jason Wahl, Justin (Jessica) Wahl, and Andrea Wahl. 24 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. A cousin, Barbara Fennel of Virginia, Several nieces and nephews. Many wonderful neighbors and dear friends especially Mary Wood, Betty Fleetwood, and Virginia Herschberger.

Jean A. Eckenrode (Ingold)

Delevan: Jean A. Eckenrode, 66 years, of Eagles Nest Road, Delevan, formerly of Palmyra, died Wedensday, September 17, 2008 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, where she was admitted last Friday.She was born September 2, 1942, the daughter of Robert and Katheryn Willison Konz in Rochester, NY. She received her Bachelors Degree from SUNY at Geneseo and then went on to receive her Masters Degree in Special Education from Nazareth College in Rochester. She spent her professional career at Pal-Mac Central School where she was employed for 22 years. Jean was a member of the NY State Retired Teachers Association, the Church of Latter Day Saints, and she also volunteered at the Delevan-Yorkshire Library.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Eckenrode; her children, Robert (Lynda) Ingold of Walworth, Virginia (Lee) Riggall of Walworth, Constance (Bert) Ferris of Elbridge, NY, Stephanie (David) Burke of Bergen, NY and Diana (Matthew) Carvana of Amherst, NY. 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Her Brothers, Robert (Betty) Konz of Venice, Florida, James (Joan) Konz of Fairfax, Virginia, Edward (Barbara) Konz of Ohio; Her Sister, Betty (Steve) Briggs of Sarasota, Florida. Marjorie L. Northrop

Hemlock/Livonia: Marjorie L. Northrop, 79 years, of Main St. Hemlock died Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilition on Murray Hill in Mt. Morris. She was born in Middlesex, NY, April 11, 1929 the daughter of Lynn Hughner and Blanche Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband Donly Northrop in 2006.

She is survived by her children, Natalie Northrop of Hemlock, Daniel (Jeanette Mott) Northrop of Honeoye, and Denise Northrop of Livonia.7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Her sister, Doris Bodine of Batavia. several nieces and nephews.

Clifford L. Cisco “Cliff”

Conesus: Clifford L. “Cliff” Cisco, 73 years of East Lake Road, Conesus died Friday, September 5, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for the past 8 weeks. He was born in Canandaigua, NY, March 31, 1935 the son of Clifford B. and Elma Young Cisco. Cliff and the former Mary Lee MacArthur were married on September 13, 1952. Prior to his retirement, Cliff was employed by Monroe Tree Surgeons in Rochester. He was predeceased by his son, Tim on May 19, 2006.

He is survived by his of wife of 55 years, Mary Lee; his children, Chris (Roy) Scardilla of Livonia, Cindy (Chuck) DiPasquale of Mt. Morris, Tina Cisco of Conesus, Kip (Lisa) Cisco of Penfield, Mike (Missy) Cisco of Livonia, Rick (Lori) Cisco of Livonia and daughter-in-law Mary Cisco of Mt. Morris. Marian A. Wheeler

Hemlock/Livonia: Marian A. Wheeler, 98 years of Water Street, Hemlock died Tuesday September 2, 2008 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, where she had resided for the past 4 1/2 years. She was born in Hemlock, November 14, 1909 the daughter of Victor and Mae VanBuren Burdorf. She was a member of the Hemlock Methodist Church. Marian was predeceased by her husband Lynn in 1992.

The family is grateful to the entire staff at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home for their care, compassion and concern.

She is survived by her cousins, Dorothy Burdorf of Dryden, NY and Trish Chenoy of Newtown, PA. Also many dear friends including Joyce and Jim Willard of Livonia and Don Oldenburg of Livonia.

Jeanine M. Wells “Jeanie”

Honeoye: Jeanine M. Wells of Cheryl Drive, Honeoye, died Tuesday September 2, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a lengthy illness. She was born in Rochester, July 27, 1966 the daughter of Robert and Nancy Richardson Wells. She attended schools in both Victor and Honeoye. Jeanie is predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Jessica Joslyn.

She is survived by her beloved friend and companion, Mark McGowan of Honeoye; Her sisters, Kathy Clark of Lake ville, Susan Wells-Bowen of Springwater, Wendy (Dennis Voss) of Springwater.
